The Dolce and Gabbana Handbag - What You Must Know

If you're looking for a handbag with a timeless and durable design, search for a Dolce and Gabbana handbag. But most importantly, always check a designer handbag's authenticity.

Pricing

You should be paying at least $500 for a real Dolce and Gabbana handbag, though costs usually reach $1000 and up. If a Dolce and Gabbana handbag costs less than a $100, then it's most probably fake. Unfortunately not many of us can afford the real designer bag, so in a way fake bags can be a good pick. The only downside is that the quality suffers.

Emblem

A closer look at a logo can reveal spelling errors or tacky font reproduction. A real Dolce and Gabbana handbag will have a Dolce and Gabbana logo on its metal rings, handles and zippers, instead of some other brand name. If you've already bought a Dolce and Gabbana handbag before, check if its designer logo has come off. If it has within a few months or less, then the handbag's supplier most probably sells fake designer bags.

Textile and Embellishments

Genuine leather is usually what a real Dolce and Gabbana handbag has. A glossy or very even surface means that the so-called leather material is fake. Furthermore, leather that is not genuine easily sloughs off. Make sure that metalwork is not bumpy, handles aren't crinkly and zippers aren't shoddy. Only premium fabric and accessories are found in a real Dolce and Gabbana handbag.

Craftsmanship

If a handbag cannot sit on its own or falls to the side then it is most likely fake. Inner and outer pockets should be stitched onto the handbag's material with precision. Inspect the inner lining and make it a point that it won't develop holes after just a few times of usage.

Threadwork

Threads should not be hanging out or stitched all over the place. Even if messy stitches are found only on the inside of a handbag, a genuine Dolce and Gabbana handbag does not have faulty stitches anywhere.

Hues

The zipper and stitch can have clashing colors in a fake handbag. Oftentimes tan-color threadwork is used so that it can easily go with different colors, plus it's easier on the money. However, a genuine Dolce and Gabbana handbag is more put together when it comes to color.

Decorations

Colored, textured or logo prints must not go over the seams or overlap. It is obvious when a print is abruptly cut and if patterns aren't even.

You might be told that a Dolce and Gabbana handbag is real, even though it is fake. The downside would be if you were tricked into buying it for $1000.
